going one way slowly back

’til two a head

 

the restive tents’

pretensions, ‘tho unaddress’d,

a semblance contest

 

the passage, ‘tho a toll

ill afford all the baggage

secretly advanced

  1. First are there any tongue and cheekies about Herod in this. Next, liked it very much and it feels somhow connected with your other poem today. Last but not least, the last stanza is very good, tight,yet bouyant.>KB
