  1. i’m trying to decide. got any idea what a pain it is to rip Ms. Spellcheck out by the roots? truth be told, i prefer my own spelling even if it flubs up now and then. handwriting the more important skill. definitely. was on the news that are phasing out teaching it in schools. going with printing letters only. kinda not good. not for the modes, but for the differentiation between generations that creates. i saw where was going a while back, and print my handwritten notes. unless a letter to family(you get in trouble if those are not in cursive). need my coffee yet this morning — tend to rattle-on if haven’t had my coffee. but you reminded me i need to do that, had to reload my OS yesterday. believe it or not, over a sign-in screen. windows wouldn’t knock it off, kept giving me the same UGLY screen no matter what. i want to find the artist of that picture and strangle them at this point. terrible, huh? but it really IS that ugly. and someone knows it. and someone engineered so couldn’t remove and then tried to make it look like a bug. unreal, some folk. could have just as easily been a penthouse photo they were making everyone look at each day. and if i had to rate between Penthouse and that picture i was “given” — would probably prefer the Penthouse! lol ……………………….. so today is matter of getting system back to par w/installs and all that. i look at needing to rewrite an OS like a holiday. time off, but will be better than ever when back to rock and rolling.

    oh, nice poem, btw. i need to start my day.

    1. I’ve given up on Ms entirely, gee whiz…I don’t know why;
      but never mind misspell, to favor understanding and creativity…
      how shall there ever be a new word? I suppose a new app, if not
      already, and one as well to ‘translate’ proper handwriting.

      We shall lose one sense of beauty and individuality.

      I think what has been done to WordPress the past few days
      reflects a trend towards ‘sameness’ and smallness.
      Good grief…I wear glasses; why make the Reader half size?

    1. Thank you, Susan; I’ve never used it myself, but have heard and read
      the tales. Some of this is unfortunately true: handwriting is now
      an elective course in most school districts; hopefully it shall be
      preserved on some monkish rocks in the bewildered future.
